KOTOYUIRO Weekly

Japan's seasons and words, told gently every Monday.

Slide 1

KOTOYUIRO Weekly is a free newsletter about the small seasons of Japan. Every Monday, Koharu Namiiro writes a short feature on a seasonal word, plant, or sky. Each issue also has a classic poem or phrase in an original translation, one short fact, and three small things to try that week. Written in English, with a full Japanese translation. New subscribers get a free PDF, The 72 Seasons of Japan. Header images are made with the help of AI (Adobe Firefly).
